Check out this awesome review and beautiful photo by @book.amour . #Repost @book.amour (@get_repost) ・・・ Name- Blackout Author- Joey Paul Genre- YA fiction Pages- 214 Blackout by Joey Paul is a wonderful young adult fiction work, talking about a teenager, Tally, and her life when she wakes up from a long coma, supposedly caused by a heavy drug consumption. Tally is a young girl with wonderful friends and is enjoying her school life. Being the most popular girl at school, everything seems perfect until one day she is told that her entire life was a dream. In reality, she doesn't have many friends and is bullied by others at school. Finding it difficult to absorb, she is shocked to find that even her father seems changed. Coping up with her new 'real' life at school, she starts getting flashbacks of her life and instances before she got into a coma. The book is her journey placing these pieces of information together to make some sense and know what actually happened. Paul has beautifully narrated the story of teenagers through Tally. The writing is simple but the element of thrill maintains the interest till the end. The book beautifully says how it is not always necessary to fit in, the right people come your way on their own. Though the climax was shocking and unpredictable, I felt it was a little too much. No doubt though that the book was worth the time. Thank you @authorjoeypaul for this amazing book!
